Gregory DerAsadourian
President
Mr. DerAsadourian is President of Marquis Agency, a subsidiary of NIP Group, Inc., and oversees Marquis’ specialty business divisions, which focus on Transportation, Design Professionals, New Jersey Public Entities and Green Industries. He has more than 25 years of experience in insurance and risk placement/management. Mr. DerAsadourian is a former Co-Founder of EcoHealth LLC, Vice President at Frenkel & Co., Inc. and started his insurance career at Marsh USA, where he managed the insurance needs of many national and international companies. He earned his BA in Business Administration and Risk Management from the Peter J. Tobin College of Business at Saint John’s University.
Michael Edwards, CIC
Vice President, Transportation Practice Leader
Mr. Edwards is Vice President and Practice Leader for Marquis Agency’s Transportation Practice. He brings more than 12 years of experience in the insurance and real estate industries. Mr. Edwards is an expert in designing comprehensive insurance and risk management solutions for transportation companies. He is a graduate of the James K. Ruble Seminar on “Advanced Truckers” and has participated in various Trucking Risk workshops sponsored by the Motor Carrier Insurance Education Foundation (MCIEF) and American Association of Managing General Agents (AAMGA.) Mr. Edwards is also a graduate of the Miller Heiman Strategic Selling Workshop. He is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) by the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research. Prior to joining Marquis Agency, Mr. Edwards was a leading real estate broker specializing in investment properties.
Kate Flores, CIC
Assistant Vice President, Operations Manager
Ms. Flores is Assistant Vice President and Operations Manager for Marquis Agency’s Transportation Practice. She brings more than 15 years of experience in the transportation insurance industry. Prior to joining Marquis, Ms. Flores was an Account Manager for HUB Transportation Insurance Brokerage. She began her career at Bart Proud Agency where she rose through positions of increasing responsibility, ultimately becoming the head Transportation Underwriter for Occidental’s New Jersey Commercial Trucking insurance program. Ms. Flores has earned a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation from The National Alliance for Education & Research.
Angela Antrim
Account Manager
Ms. Antrim is an Account Manager for Marquis Agency’s Transportation Practice. She brings more than 15 years of experience in the insurance industry with the past five years focused on the trucking segment. Prior to joining Marquis, Ms. Antrim was an Account Manager for a regional insurance agency that catered to Auto Haulers and used car dealers. She began her career as a Personal Lines Customer Service Representative and transitioned to an Assistant Underwriter at Palisades Insurance Company. Ms. Antrim graduated from Kean University with a B.S. in Sociology with a minor in Management and Marketing.
Conrad Cyriax, Esq.
Senior Claims Consultant
Mr. Cyriax is the Senior Claims Consultant. Mr. Cyriax has more than 25 year of experience in claims management and as a practicing litigation lawyer. Prior to joining NIP Group, the parent company of The Marquis Agency, he was the senior litigation manager for a subsidiary of the Zurich Insurance Group and Prudential Reinsurance, two of the world’s largest insurance companies; a senior associate in the litigation practice of Riker, Danzig, Schere, Hyland & Perretti, one of New Jersey’s largest law firms, and an associate with Thacher & Proffitt, a New York City-based global law firm. During his career, he has successfully defended some of the most complex civil litigation matters, serving a variety of commercial clients from National Transportation Companies to Hospitals Systems and Health Care providers. Mr. Cyriax graduated from Seton Hall University with a B.A. in Political Science and holds a Juris Doctorate degree from New York Law School.
Shonte Roberts
Customer Service Representative
Ms. Roberts is a Customer Service Representative for Marquis Transportation Practice. She is the newest addition to Marquis Transportation. Prior to joining Marquis, Ms. Roberts was a Mortgage Underwriter and Processor for 12 years. She brings enthusiasm and attention to detail to the dynamic team. Ms. Roberts graduated from Rider University with a B.S. in Liberal Studies with a minor in Psychology.
Richard Augustyn
Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chairman of Management Committee

Mr. Augustyn is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Marquis Agency. Mr. Augustyn has been a successful entrepreneur and business leader for over 20 years.

In addition to founding and leading Marquis Agency, Mr. Augustyn has founded and directs a portfolio of successful financial services businesses. His business success led to being named in 2003 NJ Biz’s NJ’s Forty under Forty, which recognizes young men and women who have made outstanding contributions to their fields.

Mr. Augustyn is a nationally recognized expert on alternative risk insurance matters who has interviewed on CNN/FN and WABC. He is quoted in publications such as the New York Times and speaks on insurance-related topics throughout the country.

David Springer
Group President and Chief Operating Officer (COO), Management Committee Member
Mr. Springer is Group President and Chief Operating Officer of Marquis Transportation and a member of its management committee since 2005. Mr. Springer’s insurance career spans over 20 years. Prior to joining Marquis Transportation he held senior executive positions with profit and loss responsibility at AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. (NASD: AFSI) and Prudential Insurance Company (NYSE: PRU). Mr. Springer has a long track record of profitability managing property, casualty and benefit insurance underwriting operations. Mr. Springer is a member of several industry associations and is the President Elect and member of the Board of Directors of the Target Markets Program Administrators Association.

Mr. Springer graduated from the University of Delaware with a B.A. in Arts & Science.
Lawrence J. Dunn III, CPA
Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Management Committee Member

Mr. Dunn is CFO of Marquis Agency and a member of its management committee. Mr. Dunn’s business career spans over 25 years in the insurance and financial services industries. Prior to joining Marquis Agency, he was Managing Director and Chief Operational Risk Officer for a major subsidiary of GMAC Financial Service (GMAC), a global financial services company, a senior financial executive at American International Group, Inc. (NYSE: AIG) and Treasurer of C.V. Starr & Co., Inc., one of the world’s largest Managing General Agents (MGAs). He began his career in public accounting as a member of the insurance practices first at KPMG and later at Deloitte & Touche. He also served as President of the Society of Insurance Financial Management.

Mr. Dunn graduated from Pace University with a B.B.A. in Accounting with highest honors and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Tracy A. Wehringer
Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
Ms. Wehringer comes to Marquis with more than 25 years of marketing, business development, product and general management experience in global markets for insurance, software and SaaS technologies. Prior to joining Marquis, she owned her own marketing consultancy firm handling the following brands: Prudential, PGi, NCR, and more. Her strength as a senior marketing professional is to increase Marquis Transportation market share and improve its competitive positioning and valuation through the development and implementation of organic and strategic growth initiatives. Ms. Wehringer graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration and a Minor in Marketing from Monmouth University.
